Having worked for a couple of investment banks in the City of London it was in 1990 when he decided to set himself up as a consultant specializing in Payroll, Personnel, system and process implantation. It was whilst working for Eurotunnel that his passion for golf was discovered. A corporate membership of a local course and a number of colleagues who were established players invited him to play. One of his colleagues had been an assistant professional and provided a few lessons after work each week. The rest is history. It was during the regular visits to the La Manga golf resort, that the idea of moving to Spain, came up. Following several visits to Almeria and playing Valle del Este and Desert Springs a friend offered him a job in Real Estate.
He now manages his own successful Real Estate business, Crystal Sea Estates, has set up and plays in a weekly “Swindle” at Valle del Este, organizes golf trips and runs his own annual golf tournament. It is through his involvement with the Valle del Este golf resort and the fact that he sells properties on all of the local courses that he has met many golfers who own properties on these resorts. Through talking to them he soon realized that although they all love the courses on which they have homes, they feel compelled to spend all there holiday time there. That got him to thinking about “golf home swap”. The project has been ten months in the making and with the help of his business partner Paul Axford, he hopes you will all enjoy playing other courses around the world and being part of what we hope will be the World’s Largest Golf Club. |
Paul has been heavily involved in the computer and electronics industry for over 30 years in the U.K., Belgium and Spain. From the initial design and production of electronic security systems in the mid '70s grew the now well known and respected name of 'Comsec' (Complete Security).
Comsec Electronica S.L. - the original company - has now blossomed into the multi-faceted 'Comsec Networks Inc.', under whose wing the development and software of this Golf Swap project now lies.
Paul is the managing director and founder of Comsec Networks and has developed various large and highly successful interactive \Application Web Sites and projects such as the rapidly growing Property Portal www.ibernets.com and it was because of Comsec's growing reputation in these areas that Ian Pottle first approached him.
Paul jumped at the chance when Ian outlined the new Golf Swap project and has now, together with the full Comsec resources, gone into partnership for both this Golf Swap project and the sister project, now under development, of the exclusive World Golf Directory.
Paul and Ian work well together and Ian's mad love of Golf keeps them both moving forward in exactly the right direction for the benefit of all lovers of golf in the World's Largest Golf Club. |
